Movies never stop being announced and coming out.  There are movies out there for everyone!  This article will list and give a summary of the next ten upcoming movies and their release date.

Enola Holmes 2 – November 4, 2022

Enola Holmes 2 is set to release on November 4, 2022.  This continuation of the series follows Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) taking on her first detective case, and she will need the help of friends and family alike.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – November 11, 2022

A Marvel movie coming out soon is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to release on November 11, 2022.  This movie follows the death of King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), and now the nation he ruled must now find its own path.  It is possible a new Black Panther will emerge.  

Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023

Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania is an upcoming Marvel movie.  The movie’s current release date is set for February 17, 2023.   Quantamania will further the adventures of character Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and character Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly).  In it, they will explore the Quantum Realm, going beyond what they thought was possible.

 John Wick Chapter 4 – March 24, 2023

John Wick Chapter 4 is yet another action movie, but it strays from the Marvel franchise.  Its release date is set for March 24, 2023.   Legendary hitman, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) has a bounty over his head, increasing rapidly.  Despite that, he works to take down an undercover group.

Fast and Furious X – May 19, 2023

The release date for yet another Fast and Furious movie is May 19, 2023.  This movie is the first part of the series’ two-part finale.  The plot of the movie is currently unknown.

Shrek 5 – May 20, 2023

I couldn’t leave the newest Shrek film off of this list.  Shrek 5 is expected to release on May 20, 2023.  The name misleads us into thinking the movie will be a continuation of the fairytales we’ve seen so far.  Producer Chris Meledandri isn’t planning on forgetting all about what came before, though the focus will be on something new.

Dune: Part 2 – November 17, 2023

The second movie of the three-movie series is set to release on November 17, 2023.  Character Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) must choose between his love and the fate of the universe, to protect a future only he can foresee.

Wonka – December 15, 2023

Wonka is set to release on December 15, 2023.  This movie will serve as a prequel to the 1964 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with the main plot following Willy Wonka (Timpthée Chalamet) during his younger years as a mad chocolatier. 

Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim – April 12, 2024

I got one on the list for you hobbits.  The newest Lord of the Rings movie is to be released on April 12, 2024.  This movie will dive into the life of the character King Rohan (Brian Cox).  Though, fans will have a long wait for this movie.

Despicable Me 4 – July 3, 2024

The release date for the newest movie, with everyone’s favorite yellow banana fanatics, is July 3, 2024.  The plot is kept under tight wraps, unfortunately, so we can only presume that the movie will pick up where the last one left off.
