Nike Postpones Travis Scott´s Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack Launch

After what has happened at the Astroworld festival Nike is postponing their collaboration with Travis Scott. On their website, Nike has given their condolences to the families of the victims and said that the launch for the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack had been pushed back.

This is not the first time that Travis Scott has collaborated with Nike. But this one may be his last one for a long time or maybe forever. The event from his concert gave many people mixed emotions. Nike did not want to be caught in Scott´s situation, so they removed themselves from the equation. 

The set launch date was December 16th but now nobody knows when they are ever going to get released. Nike decided to postpone the launch after hearing about 9-year-old Ezra Blount passing away as a result of the festival. He and his father were watching the festival and then they were trampled by the crowd. Sadly Ezra didn’t make it through due to severe injuries to his organs.

Travis Scott is having a lot of lawsuits filed against him. He has offered to pay for the funeral of the victims, Many reports are saying that some of his future business opportunities may have been damaged. Many businesses want people that will make their image better. So if someone someones are in a lot of controversies most likely a business will stop working with them or don’t start at all. Let’s just say that Travis Scott is not everybody’s favorite person right now.
