With a wrap of the NFL preseason a lot has happened that has shocked people and have given teams big decisions to make.
The Ravens took a big blow to their roster this week with starting running back J.K. Dobbins going down in the final preseason game with a torn ACL that will be taking him out for all of the regular season. The Patriots will be led by the rookie Mac Jones, the team stated officially by cutting former starting quarterback Cam Newton on Tuesday. The Vikings cut newly acquired defensive end Everson Griffen and running back Ameer Abdullah, they managed to get tight end Chris Herndon and a 6th round pick with Irv Smith Jr undergoing surgery for a meniscus injury. The Eagles have named Jalen Hurts the starting quarterback for the season, they traded for Gardner Minshew II to get some competition in the quarterback room. A lot of the rookies out of this draft class were trying to make it on the roster of each of their respective teams, some didn’t, some made the practice squad and are still working towards the final roster. Fans, coaches, and players are hoping these rookies can make a big impact for the team, some are turning heads though in both bad and good ways. Some rookies such as Penei Sewell didn’t look the best in their first few NFL games, everyone will get to see whether they step up their game.
With the 2021 NFL preseason wrapped up fans will be looking forward to that week 1 Thursday Night football matchup between the Cowboys and Buccaneers after waiting so long for football to kickoff.
