After a long wait, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally here. Fans have been eagerly waiting since it was first announced on May 7th of 2020. The game was set to be released in 2021, but on April 2nd, 2021, it was announced that the game would be delayed. So after a troubling announcement and delayed schedule, fans were anxious about the quality of the game.

On April, 5th of 2022, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released. At first, fans were confused as the game had many features never seen before in a Lego game. The game features a wide galaxy to explore, an aiming system, and a plethora of other features foreign to typical Lego games. Even though Lego is experimenting with new features, fans are loving it with an 83% on Metacritic and an 8/10 rating by IGN. The only issue fans seem to have with the game is the release of DLC, as they are releasing more content in waves throughout the rest of 2022.
Throughout the period leading up to the game’s release, fans of lego games were anxious. However, Lego has pulled through with another game that will cement itself in the catalog of classic games the company has a reputation for.
