With the end of the school year coming to a close and spring break just across the corner students are happy for this because of the break from school. However when they get back to school they seem to be ever more violent and confrontational to others especially other students. This leads to problems such as many fights and arguments which break apart the school and causes a problem for the school itself because parents will start to complain on they’re kids getting into fights and the parents blaming the school for not stopping them. This is especially bad for the school because with the negative reputation it will receive from these it would have the school shut down eventually and be possibly demolished. We will have to dive into the essence of summer breaks and see whether or not if the summer breaks itself factor into the recklessness the students do or is it rather something else.
One of the reasons why students are most likely to become more reckless over the summer break is the fact that outside of school they don’t have to listen to many rules. This is because in school students are expected to follow certain rules like not wearing any sort of vulgar clothing and not provoking or fighting but due to the students being outside the school they don’t have to listen to these. Another reason that is suspected that makes students more reckless of the break is that when they leave most are not gonna do work and become more rebellious as of the fact. This is because most students don’t have much to do at home and even if they did they would procrastinate and not do it on time which leads to barely any consequences because they are at home and not at school. Now that we know potential reasons on why the students are becoming more reckless and bringing that back into school when they come back we can now bring together ideas on which to make it so the students aren’t as reckless when they come back the next time.
One of the ways we can make it so when students come back from summer break they are less likely to be reckless would be to have the school tell the parents to make up some work. This would have the benefit of keeping the students able to learn as well as make sure they aren’t slacking off. We could also have another way which is to have the parents monitor they’re children more so that they don’t become worse or even cause more problems. With the problems and the solutions now able to be seen it is safe to assume that summer breaks do cause students to become more reckless. We also have the solutions to make sure they don’t become a nuisance so in conclusion they do but can be regulated with certain rules and implementations by the parents.
