It’s on June 6th, and the costumes come next Tuesday, May 13th, and because the event is on base this Wednesday, Ms.B handed out permission slips that will also be taken in on May 13th. The event includes dressing up in character costumes for the little kids, which they have already assigned. The People dressing up will be Delilah Wiirre-Rodriguez as Black Widow, Eliel Perez as Spider-Man, Sam Torna as Princess Jasmine, Erlinstzca Dupervil as Ariel, Courtney Ward as Elsa, Celene Fuel as snow white, and last but not least, Jacob Ortiz as Prince Charming. This event mainly welcomes kids aged 5-12 as a kick-off to summer.
To entertain the guests, there will be the characters as stated and a background for each one, so guests can take pictures with the characters. If they are not walking around, there will also be a DJ and balloon master, to munch on, a variety of snacks, a popcorn bar, a candy bar, and an adults-only bar, and their beverages are all stated by Deana Buelow. On May 13th, Deana Buelow came to the Theater I class and let the participating students choose the costume they wanted, along with other options, and if something didn’t fit or was not wanted anymore. After that day Ms .B just made final calls for those who didn’t turn in their signed paper because if they are under 15 they need an adult’s signature to sign off on the hours and labor.
The students are super grateful and excited to have this volunteering opportunity, especially because they all know each other. They will not only receive hours but also have fun dressing up and partying and enjoying the summer.
