In schools around the world phone policies have been implemented while they are somewhat different they follow the basic rule of not having phones out during class. This is a very good policy however at certain places these policies aren’t as enforced sometimes and teachers let students to be on their phones during class time. This is a problem because many students keep going on their phones and rarely go off unless they are threatened with a punishment for this action. Also the reason why this happens is because when students are on their phones they disregard the lesson and have the teacher get in trouble for not having the students give their phones to them. The problems are very clear and the policies are needed so we will go over the way these could lead to future problems and how we could prevent them.

The first we should look at is the constant use of students and how they would not get off the phones. An example would be a student who is on their phone and doesn’t want to get off so they disrespect the teachers and go against the rules. The solution to this problem would be having the teacher telling the student to get off the phone as a warning and if they continue they take the phone and say at the end of the day they could get the phone back. Another example would be a student who constantly goes on the phone everyday in classes despite it being taken away from them. The solution would be to go to the parents themselves and say how the student is consistently not listening and how they have kept asking and they have declined so the parents and school have a connection to the problem and could be dealt with accordingly.

The other problem is that the students when on their phones will disregard the lesson and teachers meaning that they will not learn and even be downright disrespectful to the teachers and others. The example which will show this would be a student who is on the phone and on how they will shout and say words that are very hateful to the teacher due to the teacher trying to take the phone away to make them see the lesson.v The solution to this very prominent issue is to have the teacher tell the student if they do not stop the problem they will be sent down to the office so they could be dealt with accordingly to the problem. Another example would be having a student who has grown violent and has been saying rude comments and other hateful remarks to others which leads to a fight and more. The right solution we should do is to tell the student if they do not stop their parents will be called and will be notified on how their kid has been acting so they can see and communicate with the school to make it so they stop the behavior.
