In modern teaching times in schools, it is not uncommon for teachers to use any electronic device to teach their students. While this seems like a good and efficient way to teach, it has some problems which seem to be very negative. The reasons vary greatly from separate teachers to the technology they use in class. But there is a positive however in this with it being able to help both students and teachers when they are in school. But to get the full scale and details of this claim we will have to look at details along with examples of how it could both be negative and positive so we can determine if it is truly positive or negative.

We should first look at the negatives so we can use these in our claim that schools and teachers are too dependent on technology. An example of this would be a teacher who has been using technology for all of their lessons to the students in their class, and when they have to get rid of the devices and go back to notebooks and books which have the information the students who have not been accustomed to getting the answers from the book will have a hard time finding the answers along with understanding the lesson. This is a problem because this makes it so the students will not have the necessary skills and will be unable to improve their reading skills, so they will be reading at a lower grade level rather than at their current reading level. Another example would be a school that has favored technology over physical work, which seems good on the outside. Still, when something were to happen, like a power outage or an electrical problem, the school would then have no way for them to be able to learn or do much due to the lack of physical work and not be able to pull up any work. The problem with this is that the dependency on technology would have caused the school to not be able to do any work or even teach anyone in the school.

While this seems mostly negative they’re has a positive side which has its own claim which has details and a lot of examples which could help prove its own claim. An example of this is would be a class who needs information on a certain subject for a project and with the technology they could find a lot of information on the subject. This shows how the technology can help along with being able to get information they would have not had if they not had have the technology. Another example would be that of when a teacher would need to check on work so instead of having to go through every single paper which is slow and inefficent so they use technology so they could improve and quickly finish work tht would take hours to minutes. This shows how it helps people and cuts down on work time meaning they could have more time to do otther activites and not spend a bunch of time.
