If you don’t know what Generation Z (Gen-Z) is, it’s the category of anyone born from 1995 to 2012. Anyone from the age of 13 to 28 is considered to be in the gen-z category. So, you may ask, “What is this about”, some studies show that Gen-Z won’t make it in life, others say that they have a higher probability of making it in life and say that Gen-Z isn’t special in any kind way and will have the same hardships as every other generation and have the same experience good and evil.

To support the thought of Gen-Z not being able to make it on their own, they have been known to procrastinate a lot more than other generations. Although studies say younger people seem to procrastinate the most, and Gen-Z has more people over 18. Research has also shown that gen z stays on electronics for the wrong reasons way longer than other generations. For instance, in 2023, reports say the average screen time for Gen-Z was 6 hours and 5 minutes a day, and now says they spend an average of 9 hours daily in front of screens, which is considered a bad trait by most. Now let’s go to why some think Gen-Z has a higher chance of making it in life. Some people, including Gen-Z, agree with the statement that Gen-Z is very creative and passionate and not afraid to stand up for what they believe in; for instance, new technology makes things a lot easier, like applying for jobs or even looking for jobs. There are also a lot of new artists who haven’t quit getting out there but have not stopped trying and are still on their way to success in their art, music, poems, book writing, or even their instrumental music journey. Last but not least, people think that Gen-Z isn’t different and isn’t special in any type of way. These people believe Gen-Z goes through the same, if not less, amount of bullying and has the same opportunities as others, if not more. For instance, gen-z goes to school like every other gen. They have bullies like every other that have jobs like every other they have struggles like every other, so why would anyone think otherwise that they are different is what those people think.
