If you didn’t know, in 2020, Trump proposed a ban on the app he viewed as a national security threat; TikTok was, in fact, one of them in his eyes. With this Trump information, a new executive order gave ByteDance 90 days to sell Tik-Tok, or it would be officially canceled. There were many protests to stop this order because not many people could afford to purchase the app because of how expensive it was. Tik-Tok on its own is calculated to be about 100 billion dollars, but this was just an estimate. Locals on social media turned to the more wealthy people they somewhat knew, such as Jimmy Donaldson, most known on social media as “Mr.Beast”, and Elon Musk. Although they did not, they significantly impacted the media’s faith in saving it or dealing with it and giving it up. The media’s hope was gone by the last day TicTok would be up and yet all got some surprising news it is back up.TikTok is not on the app store anymore because the band is still in play, so if you deleted it, you can’t get it back, but for those who didn’t wear exhilarated. Trump suddenly realized something he hadn’t realized before: he needs TicTok because we don’t have information on it, but he is now trying to save tick-tock. With this new look on his decision, Trump signed an executive order to pause Tik-Tok to only get the money to buy it, we assume, or to give famous people of content creators like Mr. Beast and Elon Musk more time to be able to buy it and save it.
