Is Kombucha Beneficial?

Kombucha: the sparkling probiotic drink that has numerous health benefits. A variety of different flavors, brands, types are offered at grocery stores all over. Some are stronger-tasting than others. Kombucha contains probiotics, antioxidants, caffeine, and green tea. Advocates say it helps digestion. Kombucha is a fermented tea made from a buildup of different things to create the health aspect. Kombucha tea is made from tea, sugar, bacteria, and yeast. Sometimes referred to as Mushroom Tea, it is not mushroom, it’s a buildup of colony bacteria and yeast. The improvements of digestion and diabetes, to strengthen the immune system and cancel out foods that are harsh on or in the stomach, and to reduce blood sugar levels because of the natural sugar contained in it. The most significant benefits of drinking kombucha are most effective in the morning. When on an empty stomach, know your body to make sure you can handle the caffeine without food. Before, after, during a meal for digestion. Kombucha is now one of the most popular probiotic drinks made. Available on draft and in bottles and cans the drink is the new “soda”. With over 20 brands of the drink my personal favorite is Synergy Raw Kombucha because it is the most healthy one in my opinion. Some kombucha contains alcohol and should not be consumed by younger kids without approval of a guardian. The drink is not claimed to be 100% beneficial by science but has been recorded as helpful from consumers and health agents.
