Kombucha: the sparkling probiotic drink that has numerous health benefits. A variety of different flavors, brands, types are offered at grocery stores all over. Some are stronger-tasting than others. Kombucha contains probiotics, antioxidants, caffeine, and green tea. Advocates say it helps digestion. Kombucha is a fermented tea made from a buildup of different things to create the health aspect. Kombucha tea is made from tea, sugar, bacteria, and yeast. Sometimes referred to as Mushroom Tea, it is not mushroom, it’s a buildup of colony bacteria and yeast. The improvements of digestion and diabetes, to strengthen the immune system and cancel out foods that are harsh on or in the stomach, and to reduce blood sugar levels because of the natural sugar contained in it.
